Located at the Ee Hoe Hean Club in Bukit Pasoh Road and established in 2008 by the Tan Kah Kee Foundation, the Pioneers’ Memorial Hall features outstanding business leaders of Singapore's Chinese community. Besides Tan Kah Kee, these men include Lee Kong Chian, Tan Lark Sye, Lim Nee Soon and 10 others. The Memorial Hall aims to inspire the audience with the respective achievements of these remarkable pioneers who saw beyond their own self-interests to help build a prosperous, peaceful and harmonious society. To date, the Memorial Hall has attracted many local and overseas visitors. Currently the Foundation plans to upgrade the contents of the exhibition to provide a centralized learning centre for students and academics specializing in their related fields
